Dear Members,
Maj Gen VT Mathew, AVSM, YSM, GOC HQ K & K Sub Area, Patron RSAOI, Brig Ranjeet Alva, SM, Chairman, Brig Jose Abraham, Vice Chairman, Col Mario D’Monty (Retd), Secretary, Lt Col Rajkumar Erangodath (Retd), Assistant Secretary and Staff wish all Members and their Families a “HAPPY ARMY DAY! IMPORTANT NOTICE – RSAOI incl all amenities will be closed from 14 Jan (Wed) after lunch till 15 Jan 2026 for preparation of Army Day Dinner. The RSAOI will reopen on 16 Jan 2026.
1. BOOK CLUB AND LECTURE BY LT COL RAJESH PAWAR (RETD) :-
(a) Lt col Rajesh Pawar is a veteran of the Indian Army. He holds a master’s degree in International Relations from JNU and a master’s degree in International Humanitarian Action from Ruhr University Bochum, Germany and University of Groningen, Netherlands. He worked with an International Organisation for three years in South America as an observer for compliance with International Humanitarian Law. Currently working as a war reporter for India Today and Aaj Tak. He has covered and analysed conflicts around the world and have reported from ground zero in Israel, Palestine, Ukraine, Taiwan and Nagorno-Karabakh. He was amongst the most watched Indian TV reporter on Russia-Ukraine war in India and abroad. In the past he has taken lectures in various Indian universities and military establishments.
(b) The offr has consented to give talk on Russia Ukraine war as witnessed by him live as a War Correspondent.
(i) Date – 16 Jan 2026 (Fri).
(ii) Time – 1730Hrs.
(iii) Venue – Movie Hall.
(iv) Note – Incase the str is more than the capacity of the movie hall the same will be conducted in Cariappa Hall. All members their dependents and guests are cordially invited.
(c) Request Gp Capt AK Sachdev (Retd), OIC Book club to kindly info all Book Club Members to attend the same and coordinate the Guest Lecture.
2. TAMBOLA – Bumper Tambola with prize money 1 lakh on 18 Jan 26 (Sun) from 11:00 AM onwards at Cariappa Hall.
3. HINDI MOVIE: – IKKIS
(a) STARRING – Dharmendra, Jaideep Ahlawat, Agastya Nanda.
(b) DATE & TIME –
(i) 17 Jan (Sat) – 6:30 PM.
(ii) 18 Jan (Sun) – 3:00 PM & 6:30 PM.
(c) ENTRY – NO ENTRY FEE FOR MEMBERS.
(i) To Reserve Call 7899134659 or 9900232500.
(ii) Vacant Seats will be on First Come First Serve Basis.
Note :-
(a) Online / Phone movie booking opens @ 4 PM on Wednesday.
(b) Guest Charge Rs 150/- per seat will be deducted from card.
(c) No cancellation within 3 hours.
(d) Non occupancy penalty Rs 200/- will be deducted from card.
(e) Movie Trailer can be seen by clicking Play button on the Poster.
(f) Ticket scanning is Mandatory, if not scanned before 15 min of Movie show time, penalty of Rs 200 will be charged.
(g) Members arriving after 6:15 PM may have their seats reassigned to waitlisted members.
4. ANNUAL SUBSCRIPTION 2026 – Bill for Annual Subscription for the year 2026 raised. Members are requested to clear the same by 31 Jan 2026.
5. PAYMENT THROUGH RSAOI BENGALURU APP – Members can pay their Annual subscription through RSAOI Bengaluru App, steps as follows: –
(a) Select Member Ledger option.
(b) Subscription Amount will be shown as outstanding amount, Select PAY.
(c) Confirm your payment and click on Submit will be directed to Payment Gateway.
(d) Members are requested to Use UPI option to avoid transaction charges.
Note :-
(a) Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking and Wallet options have transaction charges which will be charged to Members.
(b) Copy of Subscription bill is available at Month Bill option
6. PAYMENT THROUGH RSAOI BANGALORE WEBSITE :- Members can pay their Annual subscription through www.rsaoibanglaore.in website, steps as follows :-
(a) Login using registered mobile no & Otp.
(b) Select View and Pay Bills.
(c) Select Member Ledger View.
(d) Check the outstanding amount shown or enter the amount and click on Pay.
(e) Confirm your payment and click on Submit will be directed to Payment Gateway.
(f) Members are requested to Use UPI option to avoid transaction charges.
Note :-
(a) Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking and Wallet options have transaction charges which will be charged to Members.
(b) Copy of Subscription bill is available at Month Bill option.
7. AUTO DEDUCTION:- Members with sufficient balance in their Smartcards/RSAOI Wallet may provide consent at the RSAOI Reception for automatic deduction of the Annual Subscription 2026.
