DRESS CODE IN RSAOI

GENTS

Lounge Suit / Combination / Safari Suit / National Dress / Full sleeves shirt with neck tie / Full / Half sleeves Shirt (Tucked in / Tucked out) with open collar / T-Shirts (with Collar), Trousers / Jeans. Leather Shoes with socks.

Sikh Gentlemen (including boys above 15 years of age) must wear Turbans.

LADIES

Ladies (including young ladies) are requested to be appropriately dressed as per societal Norms and Culture.

DRESS NOT PERMITTED IN RSAOI

(i) Collarless Shirts, T-Shirts without collars, Shorts, Short Shirts, Dhoti Kurta, Pyjama, traditional dresses, Sports Shoes and Sandals are not permitted. Shoes without socks not permitted.

(ii) Sikh Gentlemen are Not Permitted to Wear Patkas and Caps.

(iii) Wearing of Faded / Ripped / Torn Jeans by the Members, their Dependents and Guests is not permitted.

EXCEPTIONS / DO’S AND DONT’S

(i) While playing games and availing Health Club facilities, proper Sports Dress / Track Suit should be worn.

(ii) Saturday / Sunday. Dress code is relaxed for Saturday / Sunday lunch except Pyjama, Kurta, Slippers and Torn / Ripped Jeans.

(iii) Members (both Gents and Ladies) and Dependent Children will not be allowed to visit RSAOI main building, and places other than Health Club, Sports / Games area in Sports Dress / Track Suit for availing facilities.

(iv) No Sandals will be permitted however Members who are medically exempted may wear Sandals with Socks which the Secretary may permit on a case-to-case basis. However, prior intimation about medical exemption needs to be given to the Secretary.

NOTE :- THE SECRETARY AND MEMBERS OF THE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE ARE EMPOWERED TO ASK THE MEMBERS OR GUESTS TO LEAVE THE INSTITUTE IN CASE THEY VIOLATE THE LAID DOWN DRESS RULES.
