2. DIWALI BUMPER TAMBOLA – Diwali Bumper Tambola with prize money 1 Lakh on 25 Oct (Fri) from 07:00 PM onwards at Cariappa Hall.
3. DIWALI SANTHE – Diwali Santhe from 25 to 30 Oct 2024. Variety of stalls are opened for Members.
4. DIWALI CELEBRATIONS :- The Diwali Social Evening will be celebrated on 26 Oct 2024 (Sat).
(a) The details as follows :-
(i) A famous band JARED and JUDAH will be playing Live Music, besides a renowned DJ will be in attendance from 07:30 PM to 11 PM.
(ii) Venue – Cricket Ground.
(iii) Dress : Cultural dress may be worn.
(b) Entry Ticket – (Incl Heavy Snacks and Bar facilities).
(i) Members – Rs 600/-.
(ii) Children below 12 Yrs – Rs 450/-.
(iii) Guest – Rs 750/-. Members may bring maximum 4 guests. Guests are allowed only if accompanied with the Primary Member.
(iv) Entry Tickers are nontransferable and not for resale.
(v) Tickets sold are nonrefundable.
(v) Last date – 25 Oct (Fri).

Note :
(a) All Members/dependents will carry their Membership Card. NO CARD NO ENTRY. INCASE GUEST FOUND WITHOUT ENTRY TICKET. PENALTY OF RS 2000/- will be charged to the Primary Member.
(b) On 26 Oct (Sat), breakfast and lunch will be served, however dinner will not be served in the evening, all bars and restaurants will be closed.
(c) Residents of RSAOI Guestrooms can buy the tickets to attend the function.
(d) On 31 Oct (Thu) RSAOI incl all sports facilities will be closed on account of Diwali.
5. INTRODUCTION OF GUESTS IN RSAOI :-
(a) Please refer to Para 70 to 80 of RSAOI Rules & Bye-laws 2021.
(b) It has been noted with concern that Guests who accompany Members are not being registered at the reception in accordance with Rule No 80 on the subject.
(c) Violations have been noticed more so through the rear entrance (Gate No 4).
(d) All Members of the Institute are reminded to first register their Guests before availing any services at RSAOI and avoid the embarrassment of being reminded by the staff.
6. THE NOOK – The Nook will be under renovation and repairs wef 14 Oct (Mon) onwards. The restaurant will be shifted for the present moment to 50 MG 1st Floor and Wings Roof Top.
7. ARMY INSTITUTE OF FASHION AND DESIGN (AIFD) ORGANISING THE WORKSHOP, DETAILS AS FOLLOWS:-
(a) Workshop 1 –
(i) Practical Workshop Title : Embroidery
(ii)Course Content: Hands on training on different types of embroidery
(iii)Duration: 3 days (6 hours/day).
(iv) Venue: AIFD, Bangalore.
(v) Proposed schedule: 09 Dec 2024 to 09 Jan 2025 (Consecutive 3 days only)
(vi) Fees for the workshop: Rs 2,500/- participant (including the training materials)
(vii) Strength Expected: 20 – 30 Numbers.
(viii) Transport: Own arrangement
(ix) Remarks. A certificate will be issued at the end of the workshop to all the participants individually.
(b) Workshop 2 –
(i) Practical Workshop Title: Textile Colouration
(ii) Course Content: Textile dyeing & printing such as Tie & Dye, Block printing, Screen printing and batik printing
(iii) Duration: 3 days (6 hours/day).
(iv) Venue: AIFD, Bangalore.
(v) Proposed schedule: 09 Dec 2024 to 09 Jan 2025 (consecutive 3 days only)
(vi) Fees for the workshop: Rs 3,000/- participant.
(vii) Strength Expected: 20 – 30 Numbers.
(viii) Transport : Own arrangement
(ix) Remarks. A certificate will be issued at the end of the workshop to all the participants individually.

8. ARMY INSTITUTE OF HOTEL MANAGEMENT & CATERING TECHNOLOGY (AIHM & CT) BANGALORE ORGANISING A WORKSHOP, DETAILS AS FOLLOWS :-

(iii)Duration : 3 days (4 hrs per day)

9. WELLNESS STUDIO – RSAOI is pleased to inform that the Institute has opened a Wellness Studio. Details as follows: –
(a) Power Yoga – Monday @ 5 PM by Mr Sudhanshu.
(b) Ashtanga Yoga – Wednesday @ 5 PM by Miss. Sneha.
(c) Pilates – Thursday @ 5 PM by Mr Karthikeya.
(d) Hi-Lo – Friday @ 5PM by Mr Pradeep.
(e) Strength – Saturday @ 5PM by Mr Udith.
(f) Sunday & Tuesday – Holiday.

10. ODOMOS AND UMBRELLA:- Members are requested to carry their own Odomos and Umbrella while visiting RSAOI for functions and restaurants, because of Dengue / Malaria/Monsoon season.
