1. SONGS OF KABIR :- A music concert called ‘Songs of Kabir’ by Ms Shabnam Virmani accompanied by Shreeparna Mitra will be held on 07 Feb 2025 (Fri) at Cariappa Hall from 7.00 to 9.00 pm. This program is being sponsored by Capt (IN) Subbarao Prabhala (Retd), M/ship No S-230. A write-up on Ms Shabnam Virmani is given below :-
(a) “Educated in journalism in India and America, Shabnam Virmani is a Documentary Film-maker and artist-in-residence at Srishti Manipal Institute of Art, Design and Technology, Yelahanka, Bangalore and has won many Awards in India and abroad for her documentaries.
(b) Shabnam organised the first Kabir Festival in Bangalore in 2009. Inspired by the spirit of Bhakti, Sufi and Baul oral traditions, the Kabir Project team has since been engaged for over two decades in bringing to the fore the power of this poetry through documentary films, urban festivals, rural yatras, CDs and DVDs and a web archive dedicated to mystic poetry called Ajab Shahar, and now a schools’ program called Shabad Shaala.”

5. BEAUTIFICATION OF RSAOI BOUNDARY WALL :-
(a) The RSAOI has undertaken a task to beautify the M G Road footpath. The BBMP and local MLA’s were contacted to keep to help beautify the M G Road footpath along with the RSAOI boundary wall, however there is no response.
(b) The RSAOI, HQ K & K Sub area and UGLY India NGO has taken decision to beautify the footpath to prevent, the people from urinating on the wall of RSAOI. Which is a health hazard.
(c) The cost of beautifying is beyond RSAOI and NGO. Presently RSAOI has put poster and security light (56 Nos) and illuminated hoarding depicting the Defence forces.
(d) Members can contribute on volunteer basis to the RSAOI fund as given below. Your contribution would be of immense help to beautify the M G Road footpath.

6. ANNUAL SUBSCRIPTION 2025 – Last date to clear Annual Subscription 2025 was 31 Jan 2025. Penalty of Rs 500 imposed in Feb 2025 as per RSAOI Rules. The details of Annual Subscription 2025 is as follows:-
(a) Associate Member (below 70 Yrs) – Rs. 10,800/- Yearly.
(b) Serving Mess / Out Stn / Indl Serving – Rs. 10,800/- Yearly.
(c) CGO/ICG – Rs. 10,800/- Yearly.
(d) Senior Associate (Above 70 Yrs) – Rs. 7,200/- Yearly.
(e) Lady Member – Rs. 7,200/- Yearly.
(e) Ex Patron / Ex Chairman – Rs. 7,200/- Yearly.
(f) Gallantry Awardees (Chakra Series only) – Rs. 2,400/- Yearly.
(e) Senior Associate (Above 90 Yrs) – No Subscription.
(f) Honorary – No Subscription.
7. PAYMENT THROUGH RSAOI BENGALURU APP AND WEBSITE – Members can pay their Annual subscription through RSAOI Bengaluru App and Website using registered Mobile no and OTP.

9. AUTO DEDUCTION:- Members having sufficient balance in the Smartcards/RSAOI Wallet may give their consent to deduct Annual Subscription 2025 automatically to RSAOI Reception.
10. SERVING CERTIFICATE :-
(a) Individual Serving and Out station serving Members are requested to submit their Serving Certificate signed by OC Unit by 10 Feb 2025.
(b) Members can send Serving Certificate by registered post with acknowledgement to :-
